We left Dingwall early in order to try for the 2:45 ferry from Pictou, Nova Scotia, to PEI. It was another clear (mostly) beautiful day with some roller coaster rides and magnificent coastal vistas. There was to be no tarrying, however, not even for lunch, or our plans to make it to Charlottetown would have to be revamped. Luckily the trail has many pullouts for viewing/photographing so I didn't leave empty handed. Some of this coast is Acadian and in several places the Le Blanc name popped up again. We made it to the ferry terminal with time to spare!
