Founded by the British in 1753, the quaint little seaside town of Lunenburg is a World Heritage UNESCO site for its well preserved buildings that colorfully sprawl up and down the steep hills around a lovely harbor. Our classy hotel sat just a few blocks away from the waterfront so we were able to walk everywhere. In fact, we took a day off from driving; I took a guided walking tour of the town, and we spent an afternoon at the extensive fisheries museum. Our first evening we ate well at the Dockside restaurant. A movie was being filmed at various places downtown (something about dogs) so we watched a little of that. A full harvest moon provided light aplenty over the harbor, but try as I might, I couldn't capture its beauty with my iPhone camera. The second evening we ate at a tiny pizza/Greek food place. A motorcyclist had an unusual setup that I had to include in my blog. He was mighty proud of it, too! We enjoyed this pretty place immensely. Now it's back to driving every day.

Great photos! I know how hard it is to get that shot of the moon!
