After a fruitless search for a place to stay along the coast, we drove into the city of Moncton for the evening. It is the largest city in the Maritimes after Halifax. We apparently missed the charming part of the downtown area by taking the first smallish-but-adequate looking hotel on the river. Or, then again, maybe there isn't a charming part. A going-out-of-business sale in a building on our walk to find food gave me a few photo ops. After a couple of wrong turns the next day, we found the freeway and headed to the Bay of Fundy coast once more. Since Miss Charmin Garmin was missing Canada, I was the inept navigator of the trip. Whereas she always says, " In one mile, make a legal U-Turn," my catch phrases were, " Uh, I think that was our turn," and "I don't know--I wasn't paying attention."
