Cape Breton Island Welcomes Us

It was a quite boring and long drive to get onto Cape Breton--trees, trees,more trees.  Finally we arrived in Louisbourg, a stronghold of the French that is celebrating its 300 th anniversary this year.  Our suite had an ocean view; we dined in the little town and prepared to tackle the fort the next day.
